What subjects do you teach?

Atomic Bites offers courses across all three sciences: Chemistry, Biology and Physics. This includes Combined Science and Separate “triple” Science.

Is the course Combined Science or Separate Science?

The course is suitable for all students, combined or separate / triple science. It will be clear when “triple only” content is covered, this may be scheduled as a triple-only live lesson.

What is the Mock Preparation course?

This course includes exclusively “Paper 1” content to best prepare student’s for their Mock exams. Join for the Mocks course to best prepare yourself to apply for sixth form/college!

What does “Paper 1” and “Paper 2” mean?

GCSE Science is assessed through two exams per subject: Paper 1 (the first exam) and Paper 2 (the second exam). This means that in total all students, whether taking Combined or Triple Science, sit six Science exams in the summer: two each for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Is this course for year 10 or year 11?

Typically, schools teach “Paper 1” content in year 10. If you’re in year 10 and wish to revise and get ahead then the Mocks package would be suitable as it contains Paper 1 content only.
